Demonta Lakwansi Hunter, Born October 21st, 1997, in Centerville, IL to the union of Zenda Edwards & Decarlos Hunter Sr. Demonta was blessed with some awesome grandparents Ella Edwards, Frank & Betty Roby, Timothy Brown & Helen Lewis A Sibling Ja’ Mahze Johnson who all preceded him in death.

Damonta was enrolled in the East Saint Louis public school district then later attended the Belleville School District where he graduated high school At Belleville East. Demonta was always involved in sports since the age of 5. He played for the Comanches, Knights and his high school team. Demonta had a smile that could brighten up a dark room.

Demonta later attended Swic College where he received his certificate in Welding. Demonta was a loving father of two kids that will always carry his reflection as well as his memories of who he was. Demonta was raised in church and was always taught to pray, worship and trust in the Lord no matter what comes his way. Demonta was baptized at the young age of 8 then he was later a part of the angel choir at North End Missionary Baptist Church. He also often attended New Jerusalem Church with his Loving Grandparents Ms. & Mr. Roby.

Demonta Loved music, he wrote many songs, recorded many songs & performed many songs with big dreams of being an artist. He was an artist who stood out not for show but to feed his family and make sure everybody could bloom behind his legacy.

Demonta Leaves to cherish his parents Zenda Edwards & Decarlos Hunter Sr.  2 Beautiful Children Dakarai & De’Monyae Hunter; Siblings Zariah Edwards; Zaryah Edwards; Zykia Edwards; Demontez Edwards; Darron Millender; Darion Millender; Keva Holt; Decarlos Hunter Jr.; Kyhnisha Hartwick; Deaidre Hunter; Jyrhia Hunter; Tremeria Hunter & Zerre Hunter also a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, friends & family.
